After you have your pair set up, you will see the male display himself to his lady, he will sing, hop up and down and shake his head down. If the hen excepts him she will postion her tail to the left or right and do a little wag of the tail.Some hens I have also seen shaking their heads to the male. If the pair does not except one another, you will know as they usually sleep at opposite ends of the perch, or fly away from each other.
